A big congratulations to Roger Webb and Philippe Galaski, winners of the Flight B District Finals for the North American Pairs in Sturbridge. The win allows Philippe and Roger to represent Distirct 25 in the National Finals to be held in Reno Nevada at the Spring NABC next March, and entitles them to $700 each to defray the costs of attending. Nice going, guys, and good luck in Reno!
The annual Mambership meeting and game will be at the Springfield Bridge Club on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Food starting at 11:30, meeting at noon, game at 1:00. Please RSVP to Terry at the Springfield Bridge Club, so we know how much food to bring!!
If you'd like to volunteer to bring a food item for this fantastic party, contact Myrna Butler or email David Rock at dave@microgrit.com. This meeting will elect our officers and board members for the next year, so it is important that as many members as possible attend. If you are interested in running for office or serving on the board, please contact Carol Costigan, chair of the nominating committee.
